Install a new version of SnapAPI drivers with a fix
You must always use 32-bit drivers for WinPE-based media creation for the purpose of proper hardware recognition (WinPE media created this way will work correctly on 64-bit systems as well). However, for Acronis Universal Restore purposes you'll also need to specify 64-bit system drivers for the system to load correctly after the recovery.
If Acronis product reports that it has not found any hard disks in Windows, the issue is probably in third party software blocking access to hard disks

Symptoms
After updating to Build 21810 of Acronis True Image 2020, you see the following message:
Unable to connect to the driver that provides full system backup, disk cloning and ransomware protection. Please restart your computer
System backup, cloning, and Active Protection do not work.
Cause
Acronis True Image driver cannot be unloaded from the system without restarting the machine.
You need to use Acronis Universal Restore to recover the system backup of one machine to another one with dissimilar hardware.
Acronis Bootable Media does not support Broadcom HT1000 RAID. There are no open source drivers for Linux kernel.
